Preview of Suite Features for The Beverley at The Thornhill
This summer we took a look at suite layouts in the upcoming second phase building in The Thornhill condominium complex from The Daniels Corporation and Baif Developments at Bathurst and Beverley Glen in Vaughan. The 15-storey condo tower dubbed The Beverley is set to include a range of suite types from one to three-bedroom plans. Today, we’ll take a closer look at the features and finishes on offer in the new Kirkor Architects-designed building.

Suites will feature ceiling heights of approximately 9 feet in living and dining rooms. Ceilings will be smooth-painted white in all areas. A mix of flooring types defines individual spaces, with laminate floors for main living areas and hallways, porcelain tile floors for bathrooms, and ceramic tile flooring for laundry and storage areas.

European-style Kitchen appliances include stainless steel 24” refrigerator with bottom mount freezer, 24” panelled dishwasher, 24” built-in electric cooktop and wall oven, hood fan vented to exterior, and microwave in island or peninsula, while suites without an island receive built-in microwaves. Suites larger than 1,000 ft² are to feature stainless steel 30” refrigerator with bottom mount freezer, 24” panelled dishwasher, 30” built-in electric cooktop and wall oven, hood fan vented to exterior, and microwave in island or peninsula. All kitchens are to feature overhead track lighting.
Bathrooms are planned to include eco-friendly, low-consumption toilets, as well as custom-designed vanities and one-piece sink(s) with integrated basins and single-lever chrome faucet, with matching chrome hardware in showers and bathtubs. Other bathroom features include frameless mirrors with light sconce, acrylic deep soaker tub and wall tile surround up to ceiling, and clear tempered framed glass shower stalls with pre-formed base and full-height wall tile surround.
The 25-storey first and 15-storey second phases are set to be followed with mid-rises of six storeys to the north and 12 storeys to the west, making for a community of several hundred condominium units.
