According to Langzhong City Market Supervision Administration news, recently Langzhong City, Nanchong City, a number of enterprises selling products that should be marked but not marked with water efficiency mark was fined. The news pointed out that in recent times, the Langzhong City Market Supervision Bureau of Nanchong City organized law enforcement officers to supervise and inspect the city’s sales of toilets included in the first batch of “water efficiency catalog”. The inspection includes: whether they are required by the relevant standards and implementation rules to mark the water efficiency mark, whether it meets the requirements of mandatory national standards, whether there is adulteration, adulteration, fake as real, substandard as good, substandard products as qualified products. As of mid-May, a total of more than 25 sellers inspected, the sale of 6 no water efficiency mark toilet violations were punished, a total of 60,000 yuan in fines.
Sales of toilets without water efficiency mark is not an isolated phenomenon. The use of water efficiency labeling bathroom products needs to be improved
In addition to some of the toilet without posting water efficiency mark, in the recent announcement of the national water efficiency mark supervision and sampling, a variety of water efficiency mark on the use of the situation also deserves the attention of practitioners.
First, some products do not meet the relevant standards of water efficiency label. The maximum fine of 30,000 yuan for not posting the water efficiency mark as required
Water Efficiency Labeling Management Measures” by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly issued on September 13, 2017, effective March 1, 2018. At present, the water products around the country with water efficiency mark supervision and sampling is still the main toilet, I believe the scope will soon be extended to other categories.
According to the “water efficiency labeling management”, for the producer or importer, there should be marked water efficiency labeling and not marked, the use of non-compliant water efficiency labeling, forgery and counterfeit water efficiency labeling and other acts, will be notified, and impose a fine of more than 10,000 yuan 30,000 yuan. For sellers, sales of products should be marked but not marked water efficiency mark, sales of products using non-compliant water efficiency mark, in the main page of the network trading product information display water efficiency mark does not comply with the regulations, forgery and counterfeit water efficiency mark, etc., will also be fined more than 10,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan.
In addition, for enterprises or third-party institutions water efficiency testing forgery, relevant state employees and institutions negligence, abuse of power and other acts, “water efficiency labeling management measures” will be clearly punished.
