2. The hot and cold water faucet cannot be directly connected to a water pipe
The hot and cold faucet uses the different opening angles on the two sides of the ceramic valve core to control the mixing ratio of hot and cold water, thereby realizing the water temperature adjustment function. Connect two water inlet hoses, then connect one to the angle valve, and plug the other with a wire plug.
Many people know to install a faucet, but they don’t know to install an angle valve. The water outlet of the angle valve is at a 90 degree right angle to the water inlet, which can connect the inner wall water pipe and the faucet hose and control the water flow switch.
3. The connection between the faucet and the water pipe must have an angle valve
All hot and cold faucets (with hot and cold water inlet hoses) must use angle valves to connect with water pipes, and quick-open faucets such as washing machine faucets, mop pool faucets, etc., can be directly connected to water pipes, so no angle valves are needed. Generally speaking, each hot and cold faucet needs two angle valves to match each other. In case of water leakage in the faucet, just close the angle valve, which will not affect the water use in other places in the house.

4. The exterior and interior of the water hose should be cleaned regularly
After installing the faucet, it is recommended to clean the surface of the faucet every other month, such as stains, fingerprints, etc., rinse the surface with water and dry it with a soft cloth; while maintaining the appearance of the brightness, you can clean it with car wax once a month. The cleaning of the surface is for aesthetics, and the internal cleaning is the most important factor affecting the service life.
In addition, if the water volume of the faucet decreases or there is a water fork, it means that the aerator of the faucet is blocked. At this time, the aerator should be removed, and after soaking in vinegar, use a small brush or other tools to clean the debris. Then reinstall it.
Most people are accustomed to using the faucet directly when they wake up in the morning, but generally speaking, before using the faucet the next day, the water accumulated in the faucet overnight should be drained before use.
5. The faucet cannot be used immediately
For faucets, people “smelt the color of lead”. Reduce to the standard level.
