Common three types of faucet leakage
1.Causes of faucet leakage at the water outlet: It is caused by the wear of the axial gasket in the faucet.
Use pliers to loosen and remove the gland, remove the shaft gasket with a clip, and replace it with a new one.
2.Causes of faucet leakage in the lower part of the faucet: This is caused by the wear of the triangular seal inside the gland.
You can loosen the screw to remove the hoe, then loosen the gland, then remove the gland inside the triangular seal shop and replace it with a new one.
3.Leakage at the joint: Generally, the cap nut is loose. At this time, you can retighten the cap nut or replace it with a new O-ring.
Four solutions
Regarding the water leakage repair at the faucet joint, the reason for the faucet leakage is caused by the damage of the water sealing tape of the faucet part (fixed screw).
Therefore, just use the wrench to remove the faucet and re-roll the new water-stop tape at the place where the screws are fixed.
The following are the maintenance steps:
- First, tighten the faucet and use a wrench to turn the faucet counterclockwise.
- Thread the hole outward and wind it 5-6 times with the wind-printing tape on the threaded part.
- See if the faucet has been adjusted and the Allen wrench is inserted in the direction of the clock.
- After the installation is complete, try turning on the main switch and check to see if it will leak.
